Helm’s House

The Museum office is located in the Helms House, next door to the Museum. The house, built in 1925, is named for the home’s previous owners, Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Helms.  Mr. Helms was a well-known banker and horticulturist. Renovations have included adding a wheelchair ramp, making the restroom handicapped accessible, painting the front of the house and adding new wallpaper and window treatments to the front rooms. The Helm’s House is also available to rent for showers, parties, reunions, and wedding receptions.
