The Clarke County Historical Society is a private non-profit organization,
founded in Grove Hill, Clarke County, Alabama in 1972.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Clarke County Historical Quarterly is to promulgate the history of clarke County, Alabama and to insure the preservation of our rich heritage for posterity. The Quarterly affords each member an opportunity to have published, items of local historical interest, and thereby contribute to recorded history.
