“William Cochran, age not given, a resident of Clarke County; sergeant, Virginia Continental Line; enrolled on September 22, 1819, under the act of Congress of March 18, 1818, payment to date from September 7, 1818; annual allowance, $96; sums received to date of publication of list, $121.60; died December 12, 1819.”  --- Revolutionary Pension Roll, in Vol. XIV, Sen. Doc. 514, 23rd Cong., 1st sess., 1833-34.
