Clarke County Historical Society Mission Statement

The purpose of the Clarke County Historical Quarterly is to promulgate the history of Clarke County, Alabama and to insure the preservation of our rich heritage for posterity. The Quarterly affords each member an opportunity to have published, items of local historical interest, and thereby contribute to recorded history.

 
 

Membership in the Clarke County Historical Society runs from June 1 to May 31 each year. Members receive four issues of the Clarke County Historical Quarterly, which has been published continuously for the last 36 years.

Individual memberships are $30 each and family (household) memberships are $40.
